Last week we had Jayce & Zoey for a few days. We found out that little Jayce is quite the flirt, especially at church. Zoey is so excited to help and to play with cousins. She always wanted some cousins here to play with her, so we had a great time. After Carter's baptism, Rook came out to stay, then we had Dawson and Cole stay over the next night. They made up lots of games and played like crazy. I didn't get many pictures taken, but fun was had by all!

I'm just wondering if the kids call you Grandma Simmons or Grandma Lucy? Sounds like a busy, but fun time. How did Jay do?
They call me Grandma Lucy. When Cassie's kids first started calling me that, it just seemed so weird, since we had a Grandma Lucy. Now it seems normal to me though. Jay did great. He's not that much of a hands on "grandpa", so he doesn't get directly involved in too much. (you know the TV keeps him entertained)
The little ones warm up to him,tbough. He & little Jayce were pals. Oh, ya, and even Dawson when he wasn't so sure he wanted to stay all night. He just had Jay hold him for quite a while.

Thanks a ton for keeping the kids... they had a blast!! And Toby and I were able to kick back-relax-and have some fun ourselves because we knew our kids were well taken care of!! Thanks!!
p.s. Jayce still keeps saying something about Papa Jay being his buddy!!
