April 7th was our Hens and Chicks party. This year we held it at Mom's and I worried that a change in location might change the party up a little. Nope....everyone was in their "hens and chicks" party mood and it was great from start to finish. I was sorry I was a late getting there from work, but it hadn't got going too much, so it was ok. I only laughed from the time I got there until I left, so if laughter is good medicine, we all got the right perscription.
Mom decided to get pretty serious here, eating her fried ice cream that Jenny made. It was gooooood! Everything was so good. Thanks everybody. :)

It was a great Hen and Chicks year. I always find out such interesting things about my relatives...the whisker back-scratch which morphed into a mustache massage has to be the highlight of the year.
I can't wait until the next party!
I've missed my last one. Yay!
I'm so sad that I missed out on the fun! Just couldn't quite get myself and a 5-day old babe in the jive. I did hear some stories and had my share of laughter as well. I'll gear myself up for next year as well!! I can't wait!
Everyone looks great! Uhhhh now that I think about it, was I there? How come I am not in a single picture? Was it cuz my hair sucked? Did I look chubby in my polka shirt? Or was I just in the wrong place at the wrong time!?!
