Today, at church they sent around two sign up sheets for food. One for a funeral and one for the ward party. They mentioned the items needed, including chips. I told myself, "Yes, I am signing up for chips"!! I've got such a busy week, and I can just stop and buy a couple bags of chips. (by the way, since my last blog you may think I'm focusing a lot on chips right now, but I'm not)
When the clip board reached me, I couldn't do it. There were other things with no signatures yet, and I just couldn't do it. I signed up for green salad and a veggie tray, instead. (And I could never bring the pre made ones from the store. They are so gross.) I watched the young mother sitting beside me sign up for the chips, and smiling all the while. Why couldn't I do that?? I just want to know.
