Begonias

I think my mom and my Grandma Spaulding would be proud of my begonias this year. Grandma always had begonias on her porch in little wooden planter boxes, and I thought they were beautiful. Mom still has begonias, too, and she always gives each of us two begonia every mothers day. The peach bloom in the last picture is one that is looking into our house from the planter box out front. The blossom is about 12" across, and I'm thinking it's blue ribbon material at the fair! Thanks Mom and Grandma for our love of flowers. They make summer so beautiful and rewarding.

Gorgeous flowers! I think that you should take it to the fair. I have always had a hard time with Begonias, so congrats on growing a sort of difficult flower!

Audrey,
I was hoping that Grandma would have done that while you were with her! She did teach you lots of things, though. Yea for Grandma!

Those flowers are gorgeous. You always do well with your baskets and boxes, but you might have outdone yourself this year.
