Jay is the best dutch oven chicken guy around!!
Last night we had the best time. The only sad part was that my camera was on the fritz, and I just didn't get near enough pictures. (I may need new batteries or something.....not sure) Anyway, we had lots of family over and everybody brought the best stuff to eat. The root beer was great, the dutch oven chicken was perfect, as was every salad and yummy dessert! The kids scattered around the yard to play, and it was a perfect night!
entertaining us as always, and Rebecca Barzee was Grace's assistant for the evening.
The only pictures that my camera actually took, were the shots when people quit saying "cheese" and went on with what they were doing. So, we have lots of pictures of the back of people. Oops! (I'm sure it had nothing to do with the photographer) Here's the Briggs' and Ellen & Grandma.
Grace was on site making delicious scones... what a champ with a great idea!
The back of Jared and the side of the Batts, and Bobbi. The other table is Jason, Geri, Shelly (with child). The back of her 2 girls and Mac getting the very last drop of his homemade root beer!

I LOVE the picture of Aunt Grace Focusing on her scone making skills. She and everyone else did a fantastic job. I have to say that the cowboy caviar was a hit too! Not a single scoop full left.
Thanks Again for another fun party.
I thought the picture taker did a fine job. Aunt Grace did such a good job that I want some scones now too. Looked like it was a good time for all.
Food was TERRIFIC, the company was GREAT, the weather was PERFECT.... It was a fun time! Thanks Mom.
Also thanks for putting my "special" picture on here so everyone can see how beautiful I am after a LONG day of hair!
It looks like you had a great party. I heard it was lots of fun. Thanks for going to all the effort, Lucy and Jay.
Don't you just love it when you can have a party outdoors? It's one of my favorite things. Looks so fun I wish I were there ... especially to taste the chicken and scones!
