I'm Back...........

Bobbi and I are back. We worked the gift market for Mini Bazaar, and after nearly a week of being on our feet 16 hours a day, eating weird food that the showrooms leave out to entice people like us, and seeing more home decor than any one person should ever have to look at, we are back. We found some great merchandise for the bazaar, and had a good time. We saw lots of birds, animal prints that still look great, vivid colors, crowns, mushrooms, beatutiful mirrors, great seasonal items, and loads of beautiful things for our homes.
I have one concern, though. (Well, maybe more than one, but one that I want to address)
Bobbi says that when I am talking to a thick accented person that I start talking with that accent, too. For instance, I may say, "You take my order?" or "You have different color?" I didn't really notice that I did that before, so I don't know if I've always done it or not, but I think I'm embarrassed. So, sorry to all the people from Hong Kong or India that I've done that to. I think I may even talk louder when I talk to them, too. As if that would help them understand me better. Yikes.
I think all of our customers and our clerks can thank us for not buying the motion activated creepy Halloween creatures that this guy in the picture had for sale. They were extra creepy, and he thought he had us on those, but we got out of there!
Oh, and what is it with women and free bags? Lots of showrooms have a free bag, and the women just flock to them. Everyone was on the hunt for the giraffe bag that was there this year. (we each got one by the way) I can't really get after any one that has a fettish for bags since I've got a corner full of them myself, but I don't understand women's need for bags.

Mom, just admit it...you were on the hunt for days until you got your giraffe bag and one extra! After a $700.00 minimum, we both walked out with the cutest bags there.

Bags are for all the things we pack around with us...the combs, hairspray, makeup, gum, maybe the kitchen sink - just in case. I too have a bag fettish. I blame it on Eli that I have to carry around such a BIG bag.

Hey, what happened to my Mini bag?
I didn't know you took a foreign language class. I guess Bobbi wasn't impressed. (I'm laughing so hard right now.)

Bobbi teased.....they only made us order $500. And, we may cancel the order. Just can't decide.

Wow, did you guys really go to China? I thought your buying trips were to places like New Orleans. You're quite the "jet set!" Can't wait to see the new stuff!
(PS-Roy does the same thing when he talks to accented people)

Myrna, we didn't make it to China. We were just at market. Sorry to mislead you.
