Which kind of mascara is best?
I have just been wondering what kind of mascara to buy. The kind I have either clumps up, or is just real thin (almost runny) and doesn't really look like anything at all. My last tube ended up more on my face than on my eyes. I realize that it helps to actually have great lashes, but I thought my lashes used to look okay. Are eyelashes another thing that goes down the tube with age?
Does anyone have a favorite kind?
I see people that have great eye lashes all the time, and so I know there must be a good kind out there...........help.

My new favorite is Full 'n Soft by Maybelline. It is in a dark blue or black, I can't quite tell, tube with a silver cap. You might want to give it a try because it isn't too expensive in case you don't like it. BTW I love love the face wash stuff you gave me. Thanks for that tip.

a cheaper one that worked ok was the gold Loreal and another i think it's maybelline orange tube. sorry don't know the name. It helps sometimes to use a primer.
Sephora has one that I liked and it's called sephora eye plumper. can order online. most of the above mentioned are from sephora.
Super Shock, Avon.

I'm no help on this one. I guess I am not that picky - I buy/use whatever I have a coupon for...but I bet that doesn't suprise anyone.

I am using Super Shock from Avon and one that is "clump free" from Loreal Voluminous. That one is in a goldish tube.

I am always struggling in this department myself.... but I always go back to the new mascara from Mary Kay (in the sleek black tube). My fave is always the free samples from Lancome and Estee' BUT when you buy the real deal... not the same!
I just use the pink and green one from maybeline....have done for years. But after reading some of your comments here, I'm kinda thinking it might be time to try something else. And I giggled at your label "another body part bites the dust." Ain't it the truth!
L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara...
This is the best...I sometimes try others for whatever reason and I always, always come back to this one. I have used it since my college days when Brook Allen turned me onto this brand and it never fails me.
It's grey with a gold shiny top and gold writing.

It's actually Megs. I just wanted to give you my two cents. A Gal can't go wrong with Maxfactor 1000 calorie. You do have to go to walmart to find it but it will change your life.
Also I happily give Audrey my permission to use Lucy as a name for her baby. I sure hope she does. It's such a cheerful name.
