We went to Ohio to attend Mitch's baptism. They've had lots of snow, just like we have, so it was cold and their church was flooded recently. They had fans blowing to help new dry wall cure, but we still had the baptism. He had a lot of people there, and he was the only one that day, so it was a special program, just for Mitch.
Later that day, we got to go to his basketball game. He did well there, too, so we were impressed again.
Then, on Sunday afternoon was his piano recital. Even though the Super Bowl had begun, everyone was excited to take time out for Mitch's recital. Todd & Josie joined in with a couple of numbers as well. (They both play the piano great) Mitch had his numbers grouped in bunches of 3. Between those groups, he would stand and bow. In between those groups, after each song, he would look out at us and do the most suave little nod that I've seen. Talk about an impressed Grandma! Great weekend Mitch!

Good for Mitch! He's the coolest.
You really packed a lot in a few days. That was good organizing and sounds like you had fun.

Geri, just a FYI: That wasn't any of my children in the picture. I wish our genes had that much hair though.
Thank you for coming mom & dad. We sure loved your visit (and Carter too). What good sports you were. Come again soon.
Sounds like a fun trip! I bet those boys thought they had died and gone to heaven to get that many days of play time!
Congrats on the baptism Mitch!
