Katie got to come, and here she is with Grandma. (the queen mother hen)
Becca came from SLC, too, and was in her great "party" mood!
Becca brought this beautiful chocolate cake, that we were all in awe of.......yum.
And then........there was the accident. While posing for pictures, Katie bumped it slightly, and.....well you can see what happened.
I thought that Katie's friend had my camara on the whole group pictures, but it must have been someone else's. Please share, because I have none of the whole group, and I thought I was smiling my very best during those pictures. And I'm sure Ellen was, too.Yup, another great party. All of our faces are sore from smiling and giggling so much! Our favorite part was hearing from Mom, and then Katie and Becca shared thoughts from Jenny & Millie on their missions. Becca & Geri teared right up, and it was special for all of us.

oh my gosh..... i can't believe i left out Cassie and Lucy Dahl! I swear I didn't forget about you two, I was just remembering the ones that were there last year that didn't come this year. We totally missed you guys being there too! It is always more fun when we are "all" together!
What a great tradition you guys have started with this hens n chicks thing! Seems like such a good time to get your feathers ruffled...in a good way!
don't mind my sissie Audrey, she's a big dope. i remember you were there last year Lucy Dahl. AND we really did miss all you chickies that weren't there. sure hope ya haven't flown the coop (you know what i mean.)
Wow! It looks like it was a great party again. I can't wait for my apron to get here so I can feel like part of the flock. BTW...did Mom get one? I didn't see a picture of her in one. Too bad about the cake incident. It looks like you got to cut it before it took a dive. You will have to fill me in on the games you played and let me know the highlights. Did Grace kiss anyone on the lips this year or was everybody on guard? KEEP ON CLUCKIN'
I'm a little late in commenting because of my HANGOVER from the party. Don't worry MOM, these parties haven't escalated quite to keggers in your absence, although it was a wild party. My hangover (in the form of a horrible, long-lasting, nauseating migraine all day today) was from all the laughing, crying, sugar eating, etc and NOT from alcohol.
Why would a natural "party animal" like me need alcohol to have fun anyway? I'll save the calories and money thank you very much.
But, what I do want to know is why I, who hasn't kissed or mooned anybody at any of these parties, gets blamed for turning the Hen and Chick gathering into a wild crazy party? I guess I must have a guilty look on my face.

It was a Great party and I sure learned many "interesting" things about everyone! The food was delicious too. Aunt Grace hosted another perfect party.
