Getting Sentimental

It was so cool tonight on my way home from work. As I was coming down into Mud Lake Valley on Hwy. 33 the sun was coming down through the clouds in the most breathtaking way. It was like the heavens were pointing to each little homestead of green trees, surrounded by the green fields. It made me cry just a little. I think the heavens were smiling on little ole Mud Lake. I do love this place with all my heart.

Now I'm sad too. I love that kind of sky.

My mom and I were just talking today about what a pretty little drive it is from Sage Junction to Mud. I love the clear sky and the outline of the mountains in the distance. Beeeeutiful!

i'm not sure you can find that same little view when driving anywhere else. there is just something about the way the light rakes over the valley just before dropping over the mountains.
there's something really special about mud lake.

It is true... it is a great place... my friends from college still talk about how awesome it was driving go carts down to Ike's to pick up our hot stuff pizza. Ya just can't do that in a city now can ya!
