They Got Us

Jay teaches the 11 year old boys in Primary (and he says he's not singing.  They must be trying to encourage him to sing.)...he's at a meeting right now. hehe
Today I got put in as 2nd Counselor to the Primary President.  (the President is Eileen Bird for you who know her)  I think I've had this calling before and thought it was pretty dang fun.  Kids are a kick in the pants.  I will miss the 15/16 yr. olds in SS, though.  I really like that age group, too.
I am thinking that they sure  got 3 "older" women for this bunch, though.  Hope they like the oldies.

Yea! I have the same calling and I LOVE it(shhh. don't tell). four of us in our primary leadership had babies last year. all within 2 weeks of each other. i guess we must be the "young-ies."

I love 'older' teachers and leaders because I always feel like they have a little something 'extra' to teach. Best of Luck! I miss Primary...

Oh How fun!! I would've loved to have Jay as a teacher in primary. The kids will LOVE you in there. Primary is the best! I think it is my fav.

You may be oldies, but you'll be goodies. These jobs will keep you young and you will be able to learn the names of the kids in the ward as well as the Chuck-a-Rama gang. I must say, you seem to be taking this move and change of wards pretty well. Good on ya!
P. S. For your sake, I hope you don't have to be in charge of Activity Days. They scare me.

Primary is a great place to be! Even tho my official calling right now is in cub scouts, I have been subbing as the jr primary chorister ...and its been fun! And say hi to Eileen for me...I always thought she was a sweet person.

Ah, Primary. The love of my life. Maybe dad could hold up some the choristers visual aids. That might help him want to sing the songs.

I think I was a teacher when you were a counselor in our Terreton ward. You were great then and you'll be great now. Good luck!
