Hens and Chicks

It is that time of year again, and Grace did the party thing.  We are so glad that she goes to all the effort.  It's just so dang fun.  Rebecca was in charge of games this year, and did a bang up job!  Her treats were equally cool.  Homemade hens and chicks....so cute to look at and divine to taste.  The dinner was so tasty, thanks to everyone, and I was especially excited to have ALL of my girls (chicks) there.  I guess I was so excited that I didn't actually get pictures of anything else.  Becca and Geri got some great pix, though, so I'm sure we'll be seeing some soon.  I'm just feeling so thankful for a Mom that helps us stay so close and enjoy getting together so much.  She's a party animal, that one!  She even had enough energy to throw a party for her brothers and sisters last night, too.
Anyway, thanks to Grace and to all of my sisters and their daughters/daughters in law and my family for making the effort.  We do enjoy ourselves at this party.  ANYTHING goes, and I love it.  (we found out a little more on the 4" back hair that someone grew last year and Ellen's schedule seemed to be a point of interest....Geri did a photo booth, so there are some REALLY interesting pictures coming.  Truly you had to be there to appreciate the silliness)

The number of chicks was down from last year, but you lucked out by having all of your family there.
I hadn't heard about the photo booth; I'm looking forward to that post. Also, somebody needs to fill me in on Ellen's schedule, unless it was the same as her excuses for not writing to me. I've heard all those. I don't quite remember who revealed "the hair" last year. I think I know, but I'm going to have to check my notes. Yikes!
