The Burying Man
I believe Neil Simon did a movie once called the marrying man, but I tell you, Jay is the burying man.
Over the years Jay has helped, conducted, and spoke at so many funerals. I'm not sure of the number, but it's over 30. For a man of few words, and one that is absolutely petrified of getting up in front of people, he does a good job. Yesterday he had the challenge of speaking at his sister Linda's funeral. She passed away last Thursday from complications of esophageal cancer. It's really hard to lose a sister. I thought Jay's words were both comforting and also helped remember the fun that we get to have in life. If there's such a thing as a good funeral......it truly was. Good job Jay!
(Ya done good Larry! family joke)

I just learned yesterday about Linda. Sorry to hear it. Jay is a man of few words sometimes, but when he speaks, he says the right things.
Didn't know about Linda...how sad. Jay is a very good funeral speaker. Still think of what a good job he did at mom's. Give him a hug and some kudos for me, okay?
I've heard that he did such a good job. Sad we couldn't be there.
I thought he did a fantastic job!
