New Year...started without me

It really seems like 2011 showed up and I just wasn't ready or something.  I've still got to set some goals for myself and get a lot of things finished up for 2010. (namely bookwork)  I did get Christmas packed up and Toby tucked the boxes up on the garage shelf.  Driving down county line road last night, I noticed a lady with her tree still lit up in her house.  It didn't really bug me though.  I like people that just love Christmas.
Anyway, in spite of the several inches of new snow we woke up to today, I'm just not going to let this never ending winter get me down.   As soon as I get some of this mess on my desk in envelopes and in the mail, I'm going to go paint a couple of the areas at the store.  I got some paint mixed yesterday and neither one of them turned out like I hoped, but we'll see what happens.  (weird paint happens) By the way, we made it through market, with me limping gimping the whole time, and found some fun new merchandise for the store.  Christmas 2011 will be awesome as well.  There certainly are some talented people out there that never quit thinking up great stuff.  The only guy we could hardly believe was the little guy we see every year in the temps with his sail boat printed pants and bright orange shirt.  The home decor business is kinda loaded with that kind of guys.  Anyway, birds, chandeliers, word signs and womens accessories are still the hot things.  I have a picture to put here, but I can't figure out how to do it today.  sorry.
One more thing....the Clementines sure have been good this year.  We just love those things.

Karen bought some cute little fat birds at real deals (sorry..you were closed) and I couldn't believe they were an "in" thing. And chandeliers? Kayla will be very happy she got got mom's. Very interesting...

It sounds like you have made plans at least, so don't beat yourself up for not having everything done. You deserve a little breathing time in January.
You must love to paint. Didn't you do a bunch of painting last year?

P. S. So glad you mentioned the clementines. I mean, really, they just don't get the recognition they deserve.

Didn't know you went to market. Sounds like a good trip. Josie loves her chandelier in her room. Sorry your leg gave you so much trouble.
