With February flying by just as fast as January did, I thought it's time for a little report. First of all, the bazaar is definitely looking like spring and I hope to have new photos up on the website and the blog real soon. When we return from market, I always think really hard as to what is new for the season.....not really being able to put my finger on anything in particular. Then, when the trucks start rolling in and dropping off the goods it all comes back to me. Wow, we do have some great stuff. I really can't wait to get it all out for every one to see.
Next of all, I've been so down on myself because I've had no ambition and actually getting no sleep with a sore throat problem. Finally went to the Dr. on Thursday. I went to the Redicare across the river from Mini Bazaar. Got clear to the door before I realized they are no more. Gone and closed. What? Nobody on the West side of town needs Redi care? And what are they going to do with that building now? I was dreading the idea of going clear out on 17th Street to the doctor when I remembered that Rosemark has a Women's care right there in Taylor's Crossing as well. I started walking in and thought, "Oh no...what if you can't come here unless you want a mamogram, a pap smear, or a baby." So, I slunk back to my car got my glasses on and got their phone number off of the door. I called them to see if you can go there if you are sick.....and not having any womanly issues in particular. (I thought it was a good question) The lady seemed amused and told me of course I could come in. Luckily, she was out at the 17th Street location, so the people that I actually saw didn't know about me or my weird questions.
I saw the nicest P.A. ever, and she tested me for strep infection. The test came out positive, and she asked if I'd like to take pills for 10 days or get a shot. I thought that one over and opted for the shot. OUCH. Anyway, my throat still hurts, but not as bad, and she had me get some Mucinex. good stuff. So, waiting for the energy to kick in now. Enough of that....sure hope spring is on it's way, too!
p.s. Jay is still doing well. Getting stronger all the time. Still has a weird numb/sore area on his abdomen, but is back to himself in most ways.
p.p.s. Mom is doing super good. She looks great and feels pretty good, too. She's a little skinny, but we're working on that.

Glad you got to a doctor so you can get better. Now, if you can just get your hip fixed, you'll be ready for Spring.
I think that Mini Bazaar is looking Great so far! Glad you got your shot, and starting to feel better. :)
Hey Lucy, I opted for the shot once because I had to go to girls camp the next day, but I ended up having to take the pills later too. So if that doesn't kick it, really well, don't wait until you have it full blown again. Love your know-it-all baby sister
Can't wait to see you guys this week! Bring some spring here with you. I'm sitting here listening to the ice rain hit my windows. YUCK
Hey, Lucy...two things: I'm glad to know you can go to Rosemark for something other than female stuff, and...glad to have an update on Jay and Aunt Fernie. Hugs to all of you!
Oh man mom,my heart broke a little imagining you walking up to the door and feeling so disapointed that no one was there to help you! I am glad that the womens clinic was there for you! Good to know, and sorta nice to have it there so close to you guys!
Looking forward to seeing what you guys have done with Mini!
